International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC) for end-to-end connectivity with a high level of service assurance.

The service

IPLC provides a dedicated, digital end-to-end link of a defined bandwidth that’s always on and charged at a flat rate for unlimited usage. The IPLC runs from a location in Bahrain to any international location. IPLCs are offered with a range of speeds to suit your requirements, and are managed by Batelco through a Management Center.

Depending on the destination and the media available, either satellite or cable links are used to provide a permanent end-to-end connection that can handle data, voice, video, facsimile or a combination of these data formats.

	Choice of access speeds: To ensure that your connection has the capacity to support your applications, a range of access speeds are available, from 9.6kbps through to 2Mbps.
	Full control: The full duplex system with simultaneous send and receive capabilities, offers full control of committed bandwidth.
	Round the clock support: The Service Management Centre is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to answer customer queries on service management issues and acts as a focal point for fault handling and management.
	Remote configuration: Batelco’s local network is configured remotely from a central site that enables faster provision of bandwidth and delivery of service.
	Network reliability: Batelco’s Network Management System constantly monitors the local network, collecting performance statistics to improve operational efficiencies.
	One-stop shopping: Additional assistance and convenience is offered for your business through the one-stop shopping (OSS) option. OSS is an arrangement between Batelco and a participating carrier, whereby Batelco handles communication, billing, co-ordination and implementation of the service to destinations with which it has an OSS agreement. Batelco’s one stop shop (OSS) approach provides you with a single point of contact for ordering and centralized billing.

Note: Rates are for the Bahrain half circuit and are in BHD per month. Rates are for cable connectivity and subject to availability of cable capacity. Rates are for service carried over Batelco’s normal transmission and international cable route. Tariff Charge Zones: a) Zone 1 - GCC b) Zone 2 - rest of the Middle East, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, India, Pakistan, South Africa c) Zone 3 - Continental USA, Canada, Europe, South East Asia Rates are inclusive of local lines and customer premise equipment (DTU/NTU). Optional features such as restoration of service during international cable fault are subject to availability and charged independently. If hard-patched through a transit point, transit charges are extra. A once-off installation charge apply based on cost of work. Estimated Lead-time: 4-6 weeks depending on availability of line, equipment, and distant end provider. Discounts are available depending on certain factors such as contractual terms.
